[discussion]Ways to increase android performance

Now millions of people are using android, and this makes it very important to increase android performance. So how can we do that? Please share your advice here.
Here's one of my ideas. If c++ is faster that java, then we can change some of the core framework services into c++. But many people claim that Java is no slower than c++. I'm not sure if this idea works or not.
