This toolbox is intended for use with the Pearl Meteorit MMB-422 but can also be used on other Hi3716C chipset based set top boxes. I build it for use with the Android ICS firmwares available for these boxes.

Features MMB-422 Toolbox v1.0:
- Install root priveleges:
This option will install an updated su binary and the superuser app for use with HD screens. With this you can apps give permission to change files in the system directories of your MMB-422.
- Install HiControl server components:
This option will install HiControl server components (from HiMedia Q5 firmware) to control your MMB-422 with your Android based smartphone. Remember to install the HiControl app on your phone. You can download it at: v.himedia-tech.cn/Apps/HiControl.apk
- Install DTS-HD and Dolby Plus hardware decoder modules:
This will install the missing hardware decoding modules to decode Dolby Plus sound and DTS-HD sound. I've only tested the Dolby Plus and that one is working. I cannot confirm that the DTS-HD is working, maybe someone can test it for me?
- Install latest hosts file:
This will install the latest hosts file available on the net. It will compare the one installed with the new one, then you have the option to install it. However the hosts file is properly installed it looks like that our box is not reading it before opening a webpage or call an in app advertisement. Maybe someone can help me testing it....
- Uninstall menu:
