band width

hi

will rooting my chinese phone (jiayu g3) help it to pick up gps and internet?

its a lovely phone apart from this problem, its very eratic and slow, i have tried o2,t-mobile and orange, shed loads of apn settings, factory resets, switching sim slots, switching 3g/wcdma andto 2g.

i am thinking the problem may be with the band width.

does or can rooting change bandwidth?
