Weird Question.
Model: Nexus 7
Build: JRO03D
Bootloader: 3.34
My niece cracked her Nexus 7 LCD and so I inherited this otherwise working Nexus 7. My Plans are to turn this into the brains for a Arduino Project (since the microcontroller can't do any REAL processing).
USB Debugging is currently turned on however the device as not been rooted.
Ive rooted another Nexus 7 before, but that requires unlocking it, then going BACK through setup and turning USB debugging to enable the ADB. I would not be able to do this because I have no working screen or digitizer.
So the question is - How can I root this device with out ever physically touching or viewing the screen. It would be acceptable to flash a whole new custom DISTRO (is that even an option). All I really need is the ability to configure wireless perferably as an AP, SSH in (telnet even?) and root so I can pull commands from the Arduino's sensors.
Thanks,
