In case you have deleted any system file causing unrecoverable crash on android, and you did not create any backups of your ROM.
For many other ROM images i have tried, the android recovery menu gives error: "Signature verification failed"
In my case i had deleted a file /system/framework/framework.jar, also i din't have any backup created, or CWM or alike softwares.
Only image that worked with default android recovery is: Mobistel Cynus T2. I followed the below thread and i was able to recover my phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2060482
