Enabling Google Play 3.10.10

I spent days trying to get Google Play 3.10.10 working using all sorts of incompatible advice and even more incompatible files.

So here goes my simple step by step guide. I am using Android ICS 4.0.4.

1) You need root - there is no way round this as Google Play wants permission to run around all over your Android system.
2) Get three files 1) GoogleServicesFramework.apk 2) GoogleLoginService.apk 3) com.android.vending-3.10.10.apk
3) Place those three file in the /system/app/ folder.
4) chmod 644 chown root.root all three. I actually used chmod 755 but i think that may be excessive.
5) reboot your mobile phone.

The version of GoogleServicesFramework and GoogleLoginService I used was 4.0.4-390215. There are loads of different versions of these files and as far as I can work out you need to match the versions and get the most recent version you can get your hands on.

Then of course having spent days getting your GooglePlay app running you find the app you really need is not available in your country. WTFGOOGLE.
