[Q] Google maps - enable world navigation how to mod?

Hi

Each time Google releases a new maps version I start the hunting for the modded version with World nav enabled.. It usually takes some time for someone to release it.. I was wondering why not do it myself? I do have basic knowledge in modding and themeing. I do know how to decompile an apk and edit it's smali/xml. How ever I have no idea where to start when it comes to modding google maps.. I've looked everywhere and could not find any help on this issue. Does anybody know how to enable World navigation? What smali/xml files need to be edited and how?

I promise that once I'll figure this out, I'll release the latest modded version immediately after it is released by Google and keep it updated regularly...
