Out of nowhere today I installed an apk and somehow it didn't ask for permission to install or cancel. at the Notification bar there is a message that says: ES APP MANAGER and the icon is two gears, the apk installs automatically and there is not window asking for permission. All subsequent apk's install this way. very dangerous.
How do I troubleshoot this issue? .. I went to tablet settings applications (ICS 4.0.3) and I don't see any app with that above name. :confused:

EDIT. Found the culprit. it's the new version of ES File Explorer 1.6.2.4.a
