In this post we will explain a different process to root a Samsung Galaxy ACE device model GT-S5839i, because the process using SuperOneClick that we explained in a previous post to root a model GT-S5830 with android 2.3.5 does not work on this new model.
1. Download the file root.zip and copy it (without uncompressing it) to the sdcard
2. Switch off the device, and switch it on in recovery mode (press and hold at the same time the buttons Volume Up, Power and Home. Release the buttons when the device starts booting). After a while, the recovery menu is displayed
We can move from option to option in the menu by pressing Volume Up and Volume Down.
Choose the option install zip from sdcard, chosse the file root.zip and press the Home button.
3. Again, in the recovery menu, choose reboot system now and press the Home button, and thats it!
