I've got a Nexus 4 with the stock Email app. It is missing several features that friends' carrier phones are not missing! I have the same issue with the Jelly Bean emulator.
Friends' email app has the following features that I do not:
1) I have two Exchange accounts configured in the email app. Once I compose an email, I am unable to choose the "from" account. In order to choose the non-default from account, I must first enter that account's inbox and then hit compose.
2) I don't have the "auto fit" option in settings. Therefore, html emails are too wide for the screen, causing me to have to scroll left and right to read an email.
Finally, a pretty glaring issue for me - I haven't tested this one on friends' phones:
The email app does not search on the server. I was in the airport and I searched for "southwest" to find my conf# number. No results found. Searched on my iPhone, it pulled it up in 2 seconds.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
