I have a CherryMobile Candy TV

This is a Philippine brand smartphone with the following specs:

There is another brand and model also with same chipset (MediaTek MT6575) to this and has tested and successful rooting ang ROM; Can it be applied to this Candy TV also? I mean the rooting and ROM, due to both has the same chipset (MediaTek MT6575)
