Hi everyone. I hope this is the right place to ask this question.
Like the subject says. Is it possible to load the default OEM android OS on any phone without a root. This is now for a phone with a carrier OS version on it.
For example. Say you bought a HTC one m9 from Vodafone, it would come out with an OS version of them and you have to rely on them for the updates. I want to then load the default HTC made OS on the phone without rooting the phone and voiding the warranty.
Is this possible or must the phone be rooted? And will this be device specific or is there some generic route for almost any device?
Thanks
