Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
backup your data before flashing it!
YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
Do everything at your own risk!Intro:
Hello wonderful and amazing people! My name is Fera and I am a ROM/Kernel developer from SonyXperia X10 forum. I'd like to share my experience in Android optimization with you. This project was always as a part of my ROM for X10, but I decided to make it separate and suitable for all Android devices. :good: I spent a lot of hard time figuring things out so if you like this stuff, hit 'Thanks' button, rate this thread, share it to let other people know, and feed me. :o
Extra Info:
FeraDroid Engine is an ultimate Android catalizator, which aims to maximally optimize your device to get better user experience. This AIO tweak-pack fit's ANY device with ARM CPU and Android 2.1+. It's native - sets different parameters depending on device's HW. No extra configurations required from user. Just flash it via any recovery and you're bingo. :cowboy: Very tiny. ~2MB of power compressed in flashable zip.
Installation:
To be able to use this engine you need Android 2.1 or higher version onboard, ARMv6 or newer CPU and recovery (most of devices released starting from 2009)(x86 platform is not supported yet).
-> Download FeraDroid-Engine-v0.19-beta.zip and copy it to SDcard
-> Go to recovery and mount system partition
-> Flash FDE .zip and reboot
-> Wait not less than 2 min. after boot.
-> Done! Check /sdcard/Android/FDE.txt log file to see if engine is working. :highfive:
At last:
Feel free to do critics, suggestions or anything else, but be warned that this is a BETA version, only ~65% of planned work was done, and may not work out well for you, despite it's been tested on various devices. To help me improve/fix my FDE, when making a post, please attach FDE.txt which has to be located in /sdcard/Android/ folder on your device. Tell me how do you feel your device with FDE onboard in different cases...battery..performance..gaming..network speed..etc, leave a review. :good:
Check second post for detailed engine scenario.
Thanks for choosing ***FeraLab***!
Thanks to all guys, who contributed, helped, tested my work.. You all are wonderful, amazing, smart, super cool, beautiful people! Peace out!
