The Meizu MX is a nice little device, but the only good stuff it's got going for it is a beta Vanilla ICS release and Root. I suppose I should count my blessings, as not all android devices are lucky enough to even have root...
The device comes in three flavors, one has an Exynos 4 Dual 4210 (45nm) 1600mah battery 16gb, another has an Exynos 4 Dual 4212 (32nm) 1700mah battery 16gb, and the last one has an Exynos 4 Quad 4412 (32nm) 1700mah battery 32 & 64gb.
Meizu has apparently released the kernel source code for all three devices, as can be seen here.
Furthermore, there's an aosp Vanilla ICS build that meizu released some months ago. Link.
If you just want to see the zimage, here's it.
Another big deal is getting a custom recovery up and running, so here's what I think is the recovery rom. Link
Also, Ramdisk. Link
If I'm missing something, the entire rom package is there at the top. Also, I know I'm a noob to all this, no need to point it out please.
Thanks in advance to all of you!!!
