Hopefully this is the appropriate forum.
I bought a cheap tablet to enable testing of an app I've developed. I can deploy this app to the tablet but it has problems creating the database (it works fine on my Galaxy S4) and I think that's because the data directory has not got the right permissions. I cannot get access to these directories from the command line so I'm dead in the water until I can change permissions. Being a Linux noob can anyone tell me how to get around this. Unlike phones there isn't a way to root this tablet. Many thanks for any ideas.:(
