Background :
I have managed to create the Home Screen app I wanted to create, since I know that without a rooted tablet there is no way to hide the bottom bar where the HOME, Back Button, and History Stack are I found a way around it by creating a Home Screen replacement App.
I also know the bar can be hidden in ICS devices, but I need to work on Jelly Bean also.
Getting to the point:
I have recently come a Surelock (Home Screen App) version, strictly for Samsung devices, and this app manages to hide the bottom bar on the galaxy tab. Not only does it had their mini apps tray, it also hides the one where the Home button is, my question is how can they pull that off?
I have searched everywhere through Google and can't find that info, could someone please help me?
Summary:
- Hide bar on Samsung Devices programatically through my Home Screen device, without having to root the tablet.
PS: It is not impossible, if Surelock does it, it means it's possible : )
