Need any help i can get successful compiling com.htc.resources.apk!!!!!!

hello guys, i searched and searched read and read tried ever apktool, but ive come up short, i usually find things out on my own but google has failed me, i read every tutorial and none has help me. i trying to successfully compile ics com.htc.resources.apk for htc evo 3d. its been a pain in my splitter!. i can decompile with ease, edit but when i recompile i get brut errors. can anybody please help me on this, or if not please direct me with a guide that is worth reading. thank you in advance

EDIT***Ok with process of elimination i managed to decompile and comple successfully but when i push my apk to the phone i get process.com, android phone has stopped process acore has stopped i cant get into my phone. any help please oh please im so close
