[Q] Usage/modification of fast dormancy

Hi all,

I live in france and my "phone nework provider" (no idea what is the english word) seems to have serious problems since I've upgraded to ICS : my phone changes from 2G ==>3G ==> H ==> no network...

If I'm saying that it is due to ICS it is because I had a Motorola Milestone running under CM7 and all was fine... but I've upgraded to CM9 and there I was not able anymore to use the Market etc etc... then I bought a new Phone ==> Huawei Honour ... which unfortunately was upgraded to ICS and which has the same issues.

I've tried to find the problem & one solution was to root the phone & change the following setting "ro.config.hw_fast_dormancy=2" ==> 0
BUT there is another entry : ro.config.hw_fast_dormancy_ap=true

My friend Google does not find anyting about this one... and the fast_dormancy=2 was only described on Chinese forums. So I've tried custom combinations of the two previous entries but the last one [0 / False] completely messed up my phone : when I try to call someone I've got a message saying that I'm calling something like the 911 (emergency call which should be recorded...)

So, if someone can explain how the 0-1-2 values are used by ICS it would be great. Moreover if someone knows anything about the "ap" entry this would also be amazing.

Thanks a lot (and sorry for my poor English)
