This method works 100%.

I have came across many people in my country complainig that there is no support for punjabi or other indian language fonts.

So here is how to add any language or fonts in your Android.

Instructions:

1. You need your phone to be rooted.
2. Now download a file manager i prefer es file explorer.
3. Now download a font file i:e say Punjabi.ttf
4. open es file explorer and copy your font file and paste it in system/fonts
5.Now open system/etc/fallback_fonts.xml with es note editor.(it will automatically open if u have es file explorer)
6. Scroll down a bit and Now you will see something like this

<familyset>
<family>
<fileset>
<file>DroidNaskh-Regular.ttf</file>

7. u can write the lines again or edit any other but instead of Droidblabla write the name of your font. i prefer to write again
exp
<familyset>
<family>
<fileset>
<file>Punjabi.ttf</file>

Note:The name should exactly match the file name.

8. Restart your phone and open any regional website.
