[Q] Change native screen orientation?

Is it possible to change the native orientation 180 degrees permanently or is it hard coded in the software?

I am working on a project and the way Id like to mount the screen would need this factor to be changed.

Could this also change the boot orientation too?

I am using a WM8850 tablet with android 4.0.3.
