before i root my phone how do i PREPARE backup/restore

i have samsung galaxy ace 2 (gingerbread 2.3.6) how do i prepare my phone to have a backup copy incase i encounter problem in rooting
, how do i restore my original baseband,firmware or etc


i didnt root my phone yet thats why im asking you guys what should i do first before rooting, SO i can restore it to original
